THE ONLY THINGs WRONG WITH PRO WOMEN PROGRAMMES

Image
Since the time I have started to make sense (maybe not), I have been witnessing pro women and women empowerment campaigns. I have come across sooo many debates and campaigns revolving that I am bored of it all now (in the best way). they don't excite me anymore, they severely LACK NOVELTY. Above all, most of them are ARCHAIC and remain irrelevant in the contemporary scenario. So here I am to discuss the ONLY problem with such "things". ( idk why I am treating them like sanitary napkins) Reverse Sexism Thanks to our pm mister Narendra Modi we have a lot Beti Bachao Beti Padhao themed ads on our televisions and especially radio channels. so one day while I and my dad were going someplace, one of these ads started to play. in the ad the father is sick wants the help of his children with some chore. when the father approaches his son, the bad son replies aggressively and goes to his practice. AAH SO TYPICAL. the girls as expected, on the con...

A BRIEF HISTORY OF ICE CREAM Our favourite ice cream has a history as rich as those of the Romans From adults to children from rich to poor everyone loves ice cream and nobody is ever scared to scream out loud: “I scream for ice cream”. Ever wondered what the history of the most popular summer dessert is. So, let's dig a little deeper to know more about it’s creamy (or icy) history. divided by borders... united by ice cream The origins of ice cream can be dated back to 5th century BC . Pee Prevention! - TAKING A PIECE OF INSPIRATION FROM MOVIES

Image
I wanna share this picture of the boundary wall of a parking lot in Gurugram's Sadar Bazaar because it only happens sometimes that I see positive changes in the city. WHAT DO YOU NOTICE ON THE WHITE TILES ON THE BOUNDARY WALL OF THE PARKING LOT? Do you get reminded of some Amir Khan movie? So I went to the Sadar Bazar in Gurugram after a few months but the parking lot appeared to have undergone metamorphosis. Earlier, this space was a stinky piece of a lot because it was the favourite place for those who love to relieve themselves in the open ( or near cars like dogs, idk) and topped with crap dumped openly near all walls. The situation seems to be so much under control in the picture, the reason will also come clear to you if you notice the white tiles on the wall. There are pictures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses on them. What any person, esp. in India, is definitely the most loyal to is his/ her religion ( even more than the government which is...

ZINDA PIR ALAMGIR - The religious policy of Aurangzeb

Image
Aurangzeb ruled from 1658 to 1707. He was the last of the great Mughals. His title "Alamgir" means conqueror of the world. His career lasting 49 years was marked by many bloody revolts and war of succession. However, there is a lesser-known side of this King as well. 5th in the row, Aurangzeb was last of the 'Great Mughals' Penguin India Blog - WordPress.com Aurangzeb was an orthodox God-fearing Muslim. Unlike the earlier Mughal emperors, he had a very simple lifestyle. He was very well read in Muslim law (Shariyat) and religion. He ruled according to the wishes of Ulema and did not live a flashy life or spent lavishly from the Treasury. Even in between the thick of the battle he would kneel down to pray at the sunset. Therefore due to his simplicity and deep religious devotion, he was popularly called "ZINDA Pir" or living saint. Unfortunately, as a ruler, however, he was shortsighted. By giving up on his predecessors' policy of intolerance ...

THERE ARE MORE WAYS YOU CAN REACH VAISHNO DEVI SHRINE THAN YOU CAN REACH HOME

Image
So need is the mother of innovations is what we hear often, however, if you ever want to see this cliched come to life, do go for a trek to Vaishno Devi. When I visited Vaishno Devi it became rainy cloudy and cold so helicopters weren't operational so I won't be mentioning them. 1. By Foot It is the most common means pros you can move at your own pace best for young and overly energetic people you can take as many pics on the way no added expense you can choose your own stops to rest cons tiering af horses on the way keep on irritating when it rains you gotta walk on horse poop and pee because the path gets covered in that shit trek becomes longer not recommended if you are going with kids (stairs) + there are a lot of sets of stairs on the way which you can take, if comfortable, to shorten your route and escape horses. some sets are small (60-70 steps) while others are hella big. (barefoot) ++ Vaishno Devi is l...

THESE DIY VIDEOS & ME

Image
I started watching these DIY vid when I was about 14, its been eight years but never had I ever tried a DIY thing suggested in the videos, not until now. In the past week, I did something that was not expected from a person like me. I did try out the DIY thing and did it myself. note: for artistic people this might seem overdramatic or unreal because it is in their nature to do creative stuff impromptu. My sister, for example, is always DIYing she even gifted me DIY school supplies for my birthday. source:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhO8Q9Dtnhw SO INITIALLY.... I watched DIY vids because I found them to be interesting. That's it. I never felt like I might try these. This was because I had many mommy-acceptable(socially acceptable) excuses ready in the backstage of my mind. these were like this stuff is too damn foreign, who has so much stuff to spare, whos got time, manicure for a vid! girl be crazy or what? I gotta study, the school won...
